Welcome to the Bedforview Community Police Forum

We place an emphasis on community involvement with the police

There is a huge emphasis placed by government on community involvement with the police. There is no doubt that crime is affecting all of us and the SAPS are facing serious challenges.

The Bedfordview Community Police Forum (BCPF) has been established for 17 years commencing in the Meadowdale area and now covering Bedfordview, St. Andrews, Essexwold, Morninghill, Senderwood as well as Meadowdale, Klopperpark and Elandsfontein. The success of the Bedfordview Community Policing Forum lies in our strong partnership with the Police, the local businesses and community in the area.

Our primary aim is to raise sponsorship to provide support and back up services to assist the police in decreasing crime and increasing the free flow of information between key players. The forum is a non-profit Section 21 company, a financially transparent audited concern. This is funded by local businesses, as well as by members of the community who give their time freely to facilitate and manage projects in their sector. We therefore are appealing to businesses and individuals within the Bedfordview community to assist us financially.

Current projects that your sponsorship and the Bedfordview community support are-

Our Specific Contribution to the Police.

The Police do not receive any real “company benefits” working for a poorly paid government institution. We try and provide for those missing elements i.e. Workers Day, Women’s Day, and a Police Health Day.

How can you Help Us?

We have incredible underlying POWER IN THE SUBURBS, working as a team with the SAPS on making a difference. We have presented our success story to-date and would really like you to be part of our team, and appeal to you to assist us financially or with a specific project.

Sponsors are listed on all our correspondence i.e. emails, letterheads, faxes etc. Your company will also be listed on the Communicator. A Section 18A Tax Certificate is presented to each sponsor at our financial year end in June. All our financials are audited by Boake Incorporated and copy is available at any time.

Sponsorship tiers work as follows: Platinum Sponsor R2000 a month upwards, Gold Sponsor R500-R1999 and Silver Sponsor R0-R499.
